It had been a while since I’d travelled to someone’s home for their newborn portraits – but I’m really glad that I did for this little guy. You’d be surprised how little space I need – as long as I can find some pretty light coming in a window, I can set up just about anywhere! In Tanner’s case, I set up in his nursery, and once we were done with his family portraits (outside and in his living room), and his sleepy newborn portraits, we cleared away my stash, and I was able to take a few shots of Tanner in his nursery – so fun to remember exactly what it looked like, and how small he was in his room! And there’s just something about soft natural light that is so fitting for a newborn – this first image in particular just takes my breath away!
