Newborn Deliciousness | Rockwall Newborn Photographer

I can't help it - when I look at this image - all I can think is 'delicious'!  Typically - I like to shoot newborn sessions when babies are between 7-10 days old, and preferably before 14 days.  This little guy was five weeks old - so I prepared Mom for the fact that we might have more 'alert' shots than my typical newborn session...  Turns out I was completely wrong - despite his 'advanced' age - he was no match for my Baby Whispering skills - in fact - we tried to wake him up at the end of the session to grab some with his eyes open - but we couldn't rouse the sleepy guy! This shot is one of the last ones I took - I find that with almost any type of session - my favorite image always ends up being one of the last ones I took - it just goes to show - it's worth it to stick it out!
