I shouldn't jinx it by saying this - but I think I've finally blogged everything from 2013 - this being the final session from December... It took a bit for this little guy to relax and feel comfortable with me - but once he did - I loved capturing his silly moments! It's so clear what a wonderful relationship these two have - such a special bond, and it was wonderful to see it, and more importantly, capture it for them. Downtown Rockwall Square

I had a huge rush of newborns in the fall of 2012, and therefore, a huge rush of 1-year sessions in the fall of 2013. It never stops being awesome to be able to watch these newborns grow into walking, talking toddlers. Miss Celia was certainly no exception - and her parents chose some gorgeous colors that tied really well to the fall color outside. A bit of an overshare again - but here she is! Sweet Roman and his family came in to the studio in December for some pictures - he has some PERSONALITY! And just for some added fun - he decided that it would be a good time to roll over for the first time! I caught the tail end of it - see below - he looked so darn proud of himself when he was all finished!

I'm still working my way through blogging my fall sessions. Sometimes I think I should jump ahead, and then fill in with older sessions - but there's just something about doing things in order - I can't bring myself to skip anything! Plus - I don't want to wait any longer to share this particular session... I met Patty through the Amy Parks PTO - she's so sweet and giving, and it was sure an adventure photographing her family - her boys have energy to spare, but that's what ends up resulting in some of the most genuine portraits - like that first one of the boys laughing - one of my favorites!
