It's always such a treat to be invited into a client's home to capture the changes after a new family member is added.  The first thing I do is take a quick tour, looking for pretty window light before deciding where to work.  I love working with new babies - but I have to say, I think my favorite part of this session was at the beginning, capturing father and son playing while baby was nursing.  Being in their home - I was able to capture more natural relationships and get a peek into their daily lives, not to mention being able to photograph baby in the gorgeous nursery - check out that awesome oval crib, with custom bedding by Wee Dreamscapes! This was actually my first time doing family portraits at The Harbor in Rockwall - I'm not sure why I waited so long - there were so many great areas that work as wonderful backdrops for pictures!  I'm looking forward to going back - I think it would be fantastic in the summer!  In any cases - here are some images from Lisa's session with her boys - I love how they can go from jumping around to snuggling in the blink of an eye...
