Kate was the first of three newborn baby girls I had the joy to photograph in November - and she brought along her big sister and big brother as well, who are equally as photogenic!  I was thrilled that she stayed awake for us, even while posing - which is very rare for tiny ones to do - she's just too sweet for words! Now that I have finished the last session of 2012 - it's time to start blogging when the madness began!  I'm at the beginning of November - meet the F family, who I've been lucky enough to photograph for four years now!  I need to start brainstorming a new location for next year - so far we've photographed them in their home, at Harry Myers Park, in downtown Royse City, and this year in downtown Rockwall.  We took a few of these in front of Restaurant Ava, and then a few in front of Zanata - luckily we were there when both businesses were closed, allowing us to use the front and not disturb their customers! This is something a bit out of the ordinary for me - but I thrive on doing something different!  Glenn contacted me to have professional portraits done in his military uniform.  He serves in Washington as a consultant since his retirement, and was going to be speaking at a large conference, and needed an updated photo - but he also confided in me that his daughter had been asking him for years to have a nice portrait done in uniform, since she had one of her grandfather, and great-grandfather.  It makes my heart feel good to know that she'll have all three displayed together now! In addition to the standard pose on the left that he'll use for his work - we had a little fun doing a retro-style pose that is also very flattering - my favorite is the one on the right!
