Another post of 'mine' - can you tell I'm still behind?  This one is from Father's Day, when I forced my family out into the backyard for five minutes to get these shots.  We made my husband a framed gift where there were two sheets my daughters made, and a third opening for a picture - so I wanted to get one ON the day to put in there.  We ended up choosing a silly one - because that's how this crew is when together! Blogging a lot of studio sessions from June!  When it's hot - I'm grateful to have the studio, so I can still capture amazing portraits, without everyone sweating buckets!  This sweet family came in for 6-month pictures for their son, but we captured a couple family shots, and of course some of his adorable sister as well. For some reason I find myself photographing sets of three brothers a LOT.  I have to really change my mindset on what makes boys comfortable and makes them laugh - as a mother of two girls - I can tell you - sometimes it's not that different!  This set of boys was TOO cute - and little Tobiah especially - that last shot is one of my favorites from this year - it just makes me smile! This little guy came to see me in June for some first birthday portraits - and his Dad was so sneaky and sweet - he then booked a short session for his wife for mother's day - because he said she is always the one taking pictures, and is rarely actually IN them...  Um - I *think* I know how she feels...  What an amazing hubby to recognize that, and book a session just to focus on pictures of her and her son!
