I have had an influx of maternity clients recently - which just warms my heart...  There is nothing like this special time, especially when it is your first child, as is the case for Crista & Jason.  I have recently begun offering these maternity sessions as mini-sessions - and it works really well!  We even had time to do a quick maternity silhouette at the end of the shoot - which I just love... First, I must apologize for falling so far behind on the blog!  This session was from May, if that gives you an idea of how far behind I am...  I plan to get caught up over the next couple of weeks, though - so add me to your radar, and check back often! With this session - we decided to do something different - we wanted to focus mostly on the relationship between Dad and the boys...  I asked Mom to bring along some things that represent special things that they do together - and it couldn't have worked out any better...  Little K loves to play cars with Daddy, while J loves throwing the football...  and they BOTH love to have Daddy help them with their golf swing...  I consider this to be more of a 'Story-Telling' session - one that doesn't just show what this family looks like, but shows the relationships - which just makes my heart happy!
