I've wanted to do this type of session for a long time - just a Mom and her kids - cozied up on the bed.  Mom was so wise to ask me to come photograph them in this way - my wheels are turning on how I can offer some more sessions of this type - showing the true love and relationships of these three ladies was so rewarding! Amber - LOVE these Sarah! I adore how you’re able to capture such natural expressions and connections.ReplyCancel

It's hard to believe - but I've been photographing Harper since she was three months old - this is the final session of her Baby Plan!  It's so fun to watch babies grow - seeing them as they reach milestones and learn new things!   You can see Harper's earlier sessions here and here. Aunt Tonya - They are just precious, even though she is my niece. I love the one of her outside…priceless!ReplyCancel

There is never a dull moment when hanging out with, and especially when photographing, this family - 3-year old twins and a 13-month old keep them (and me) running!  It was also super windy for our session - good thing the only one with long hair had her hair up in darling pigtails!  I got some great shots - including a couple with the whole family - but these shots just called to me when I was doing a quick review of what we captured yesterday! I have used the downtown Royse City area before for a senior session - but never for families.  I don't know why I didn't do this sooner - we had a ball all day - and there are so many cool places to use!  I had trouble narrowing it down - but I'm only posting one image per family - usually the one that made me go 'awwwwww' when I looked at it in-camera! Things had been crazy prior to last week - but now they are downright ridiculous!  November is definitely the absolute busiest time of the year for me - but I'm really enjoying hopping between all different types of sessions!  I have had nine sessions in the last nine days - everything from 6-month olds to boudoir - I used to think I wanted to shoot only babies - then I found a love for families!  Then I had a chance to begin shooting older people (and by older - I mean HS Seniors and up) - and I found I love shooting seniors, couples, etc.  With this session - I had a chance to do a mix, which was really fun - this family had some younger ones, and a HS senior, plus I got to photograph three generations, which was really cool.  I'd love to show you more from the session, and maybe I will when things slow down - but for now - you'll have to settle for just one amazing shot!
