I was recently contacted by the owners of a new business called Little Lexi Lulu's to take some photos of their so so cute tutu's.  Instead of doing a traditional shoot with a stark backdrop, we decided to take some shots around a local daycare - we had such a good time! Now here's the really fun news... In conjunction with Sarah Duckworth Photography, and The Fairytale Frog - Little Lexi Lulu's is conducting a model search to find the FACE of Little Lexi Lulu's!  We are looking for a little girl between the ages of 2 and 8.  SEVERAL girls will be chosen to participate in a really fun photo shoot and will be treated like princesses.  To apply - please scroll down to the bottom of this post for information (this is my way of FORCING you to look at my images!!!). Here is a small sampling of some of the images from the original shoot: PIN THIS IMAGE PIN THIS IMAGE PIN THIS IMAGE PIN THIS IMAGE PIN THIS IMAGE

We had our first Facebook Profile Pic party for some students from Wylie High School - we were able to get 2 or 3 photos for each student.  It's an experience doing a brief senior session with four more seniors standing behind you cracking jokes...  Actually, it was three seniors - I recruited them to take turns holding my light.  If you know a High School Junior who is interested in hosting a Facebook Profile Pic party - please send them my way!  There is no charge - I just ask that when you post the images on Facebook, you leave my business name on them - and that's it - no strings attached!  I'm only going to offer one party per school - so if you're from Wylie - sorry, these guys beat you to the punch! Boy - it seems like every blog post I make is during the wee hours - the only time I can be alone!  We had such a good time at tonight's senior session with Amber, her Mom, my lovely assistant Shana, and me.  I really need to have someone take some 'behind the scenes' footage at some of my sessions so I can show you how silly it gets...  The light was fading fast tonight, but we managed two outfits plus a few in her cap & gown - here are some of my favorites: PIN THIS IMAGE PIN THIS IMAGE PIN THIS IMAGE Sarah Duckworth | Rockwall Senior Pictures

This sweet girl is just eight days old (newborns are best photographed between seven and ten days).  It was a lengthy shoot, but so worth it.  It may have lasted longer because I was savoring holding and rocking her a bit longer than necessary - I hope her family didn't mind!  I think my favorite part was watching her Daddy with her - he was absolutely the most outwardly proud new Dad I've ever met - he was BEAMING with love and pride!  I had so many shots to choose from, it was hard selecting a couple for the blog - I may end up HAVING to post a couple more when I finish editing - there are some others that simply can't NOT be shared - so keep an eye out for another post in the next week or so 😉 PIN THIS IMAGE PIN THIS IMAGE Sarah Duckworth | Rockwall Baby Photographer

Tyler has a really great smile - one of those that is infectious!  I would say the majority of what I shot at his session was images with a partial or full smile...  Yet - when I chose images for the sneak peek - I was drawn to some of the more serious expressions.  Take a look for yourself, and you'll see what I mean...
