It was amazing to be able to photograph Kobe one year after his arrival - you see - Kobe was the first baby I photographed as a birth photographer!  Well - actually, Kobe was on his own schedule - because he arrived before I did - but I was still able to capture some lovely 'just after birth' images of him for his family.  Here's Kobe - then, and now... One of the things I love most about my job is the many opportunities I have to continue furthering my education and skill development.  No matter how good an artist is, striving to improve and perfect our craft is what helps us to grow, and to continue to be excited every time we photograph our clients!  I was fortunate enough to be able to learn from a nationally recognized newborn photographer back in January down in Austin - it was a day absolutely jam-packed with learning, lots of tips, lots of 'aha' moments that have made photographing newborns that much more enjoyable!  Instead of continuing to ramble on - take a look at just a handful of the images I captured that day - we had three adorable models - we couldn't have asked for anything better!
