I photograph so many families with tots - that it was a refreshing pleasure photographing this gorgeous family with kids who are a smidge older!  Despite the freezing temps (I seriously think it was around 39 when we met) - they did amazing!  I found some sunshine for them to stand in toward the end, which worked beautifully, both for portraits, and to warm everyone up!  Here are just a few of the kids... This was my THIRD family with three young boys within just a few weeks of each other. Since I have girls myself - I enjoy getting a glimpse into what life is like with boys - and let me assure you - there is never a dull moment. These particular boys are so so handsome, and when you pair that with complete sweetness - you can't lose. Heath, TX Park Family Photo SessionPIN THIS IMAGE Sarah Duckworth | Portrait Photographer

This is my second fall photographing this sweet family. Their oldest son is in my oldest daughter's class at Fulton. Last year (2010), their youngest wasn't yet walking - so this past fall was a whole new ball of wax - he was busy, and off and running the entire session! I actually love it - I love to capture them exactly how their life is in that moment - and that includes a toddler that is a runner! I can't wait to see how much everyone changes by this coming fall! Sarah - Three boys! Looks like so much fun! You really captured their spirit!ReplyCancel

I decided to start sharing a bit more of my family here on the blog - because I've really enjoyed reading blogs where you get to learn something personal about the blogger, and I want you to know a bit more about me!  Getting to know my clients on a personal level is something I love doing, and it always helps me to get those more 'real' moments during our portrait session. These images are from September.  The first set are from Kate's 3rd birthday session - she looked so much more grown up to me than in past portraits - three is such a milestone!  The second set are some random snaps of my family, to share with you.  My Mom, husband and Dad are in these, and of course - my kids...  Maybe in my next post I'll actually share some more of ME...  Ha! Yep - still blogging November 2011 - I had a LOT of sessions that month, and I think I'm sorta getting close to blogging them all!  This family is dear to my heart - I photographed little Kaleb when he was less than two weeks old, and then I photographed this family in the fall of 2010.  I was so pleased that they decided to come back and have me photograph them this fall - kids change so quickly at this age, and each family session, even just a year apart - had a totally different vibe - and told the story of their family in that moment.  I love my job.
